At 71, An Olympian Again -

The Japanese equestrian Hiroshi Hoketsu, who is 71, will likely be the oldest Olympian competing in the London Games this summer. And he’s exactly who I wanted to be interviewing the week of my birthday.

I.O.C. Rejects Israeli Request for Moment of Silence at London Games -

The International Olympic Committee has rejected a proposal from the Israeli government to hold a moment of silence at this summer’s London Games in memory of the 11 Israeli athletes who were killed by Palestinian terrorists at the 1972 Olympics in Munich.
